Concepts Related to Curriculum & Pedagogy for STEM Faculty (Core Session 1, In-Person)

This workshop series will examine the ways that STEM curriculum and pedagogy across fields can integrate diversity issues and prioritize transformative outcomes. The goal of this series is to increase understanding and skills specifically for the betterment of communication inside and outside the classroom in support of STEM learners’ diversity.

This session will focus on communication as a core process of engaging across differences and will create space for applying concepts and models from Core Sessions 1 and 2 to participants’ real life experiences that advance teaching, research and creativity.

Facilitators: Tatyana Fertelmeyster, M.A., LCPC, is Founder and Principal of  Connecting Differences, LLC and Malii Watts Witten, M.A., who has 19 years’ experience in the diversity and equity field.
