iClicker Student Response System: Engaging Your Students in Their Own Learning

FreeIn this workshop, we discuss how teaching with the iClicker Student Response System can enhance student engagement and understanding, especially in large enrollment courses. Faculty can use the iClicker student mobile app to poll students and get instant feedback on whether students understand concepts presented during lecture and in pre-class readings. UVM has a site license for the iClicker Student App so There is no cost to the instructor or student use the app on a laptop or mobile device.
This workshop also covers the technical aspects of using iClicker Cloud, including how to sync to Brightspace. There will be opportunities for attendees to ask additional questions. iClicker Cloud supports a variety of question types, and is entirely based in the cloud for easy administration. iClicker Cloud also supports hand-held iClicker remotes.
