Writing in U.S. Academia: A Workshop for Graduate Students
Thursday, March 2, 2023 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
FreeWorking in academia can feel like entering a foreign culture. Understanding U.S. academic norms and expectations can help students of all backgrounds, disciplines, and skill levels become successful writers. Join us in this online workshop to discuss and clarify academic writing styles and formats and learn how to apply these conventions to your own work. Students are encouraged to bring a class assignment or prompt to work with. Graduate writers at all stages of the writing process and their graduate careers are welcome!
Facilitated by Molly Duff, Graduate Writing Center Consultant
You will receive a Microsoft Teams calendar invitation the afternoon prior to your event explaining how to join and participate in the meeting. If you click “accept,” it will populate on your Teams calendar for easy access!
