DESCRIPTION:Enjoy lunch with colleagues while learning about UVM’s Integrative Learning rubric and how it can enhance your course design\, teaching\, and assessment of student progress. \nThe American Association of Colleges and Universities (AACU) defines integrative learning as “an understanding and a disposition that a student builds across the curriculum and co-curriculum\, from making simple connections among ideas and experiences to synthesizing and transferring learning to new\, complex situations within and beyond the campus.” In this workshop\, we’ll have a chance to explore UVM’s version of the AACU Integrative and Applied Learning rubric and the many ways you can use it to support integrative learning experiences. We’ll also enjoy conversation with colleagues and a chance to think about integrative learning opportunities in a wide range of teaching and learning environments. \nPlease fill out this form to register.
